Ann C. Eiselein

Ann is an estate planning and estate and trust administration lawyer. She provides comprehensive and experienced advice to achieve clients’ personal estate planning objectives and supports family members and fiduciaries with detailed and practical guidance throughout the process of estate and trust administration.

From couples with small children to retirees, from the simple plan to the most complex, Ann enjoys working closely with individuals and families to design an estate plan that will meet their unique goals. She advises clients on the use of various planning techniques to minimize estate, income and generation-skipping taxes and explains the methodology in a way that is comprehensible. To help clients to avoid probate and ensure the smooth disposition of assets on death, she provides specific recommendations regarding titling of assets and beneficiary designations.

Ann also manages all aspects of the estate and trust administration process. She provides clear and thoughtful instruction to her clients at every stage, including collecting and managing estate assets, arranging for appraisals, funding trusts, and distributing assets to beneficiaries. She oversees the preparation and filing of paperwork with the Probate Court, prepares federal and Massachusetts estate tax returns, obtains releases of estate tax liens, and prepares Probate Inventories and Accounts. Ann also advises clients on post-mortem estate planning.
