Gilmore Rees & Carlson was founded in 1988 by three senior trust and estate attorneys from a large Boston law firm. Their vision was to establish and grow a sophisticated trust and estate law firm where clients could receive exceptional legal services comparable to the services provided by large downtown law firms, but in the convenience of the suburbs and at more reasonable rates. We have held true to that vision, and Gilmore Rees & Carlson is now home to one of the largest trust and estate departments in New England.
