Katie routinely counsels family business owners, helping them address the unique challenges they face, such as business succession planning. Katie’s clients look to her for advice on entity formation, limited liability companies, family limited partnerships, shareholder and partnership buy-out agreements, stock transfers and splits, as well as corporate recapitalizations.

In her real estate practice, Katie handles a range of residential and commercial transactions related to the ownership and transfer of properties. She drafts, reviews and negotiates residential purchase and sale agreements, in addition to crafting opinion letters for commercial closings.
